Who are you?

Hi! My name is Christine Martin, and I'm the Founder and Creative Director of the shop. Creating is in my blood, and I am so happy to have learned the techniques of leather working when I returned to Maine from corporate consulting life in New York City. 

The ethos of Oona Reuben is to create well-crafted artisan items that both look beautiful and will last a lifetime. I'm proud of the deliberate way in which I make my items. I don't cut corners, guaranteeing you a handcrafted item that will last forever. I want your grandkids to be able to tell the story of the bag you're about to purchase. Seriously!

How does shipping work?

I do my absolute best to ship out all items within a week. If there's any sort of delay, I will email you directly (so be sure to check!). Items are shipped via USPS Priority, which means each item has a tracking number associated. You can verify status and ETA from your phone, keeping the stress out. 

All of our items are handmade by yours truly, so I appreciate your patience!

Can I order wholesale?

A resounding "yes"! Email me to talk turkey.

Do you take on custom projects?

Absolutely! It's always a thrill to prototype and make new ideas work. Send me a message, I'd love to hear what you have in mind!

I live nearby and need a leather item repaired. Can you help?

Depends on the project, but generally, yes. Send me an email or bring it by, and I'll see what I can do!
